This Interprofessional Conference on Exertional Heat Illness brings together Athletic Trainers, Emergency Medical Services, and Osteopathic Physicians to discuss Exertional Heat Illness from it’s first signs, treatment onsite, emergency transport, to hospital care.

9:35 am - Two Expert Presentations on Exertional Heat Illness Best Practices

11:30 am - Interprofessional Panel Discussion from Professionals with Personal Experience treating EHI

12:30 pm - Lunch (provided with registration)

1:30 pm - Observe a live simulation of EHI from on-site care to transport to hospital care

2:30 pm - Group debrief and discussion of simulation, including all conference attendees and simulation team

3:30 pm - Conference concludes

3:45 pm - Athletic Training Student Quiz Bowl

5:00 pm - Athletic Training Student Mix and Mingle
