Honors and Awards

About the Committee

The Honors and Awards Committee is responsible for recognizing excellence and service within the profession. The committees responsibilities include:

• Recommend to the Board the criteria for all awards presented by the Association.

• Review nominations and recommend award recipients to the Board.

• Procure plaques and other award items in accordance with Board guidelines.

• Confirm all engraved and printed awards include the official UATA seal.

• Advise the President and Board on all matters related to awards.

• Coordinate and present awards at the Association’s annual or semi-annual meetings.
